Craig Dory, Director of the NRMC will present at the inaugural NextGenMfg meeting, hosted by the Steel Founder’s Society of America on May 23, 2019 at 1:00pm in Hilton Harrisburg – Leland Room, Harrisburg, PA.
The inaugural NextGenMfg meeting will feature presentations by the Manufacturing USA Institutes ARM and CESMII, and SFSA research on applying scanning technology, automated grinding and machine learning. Attendees will learn how this manufacturing technology can be utilized in the job shop environment of a steel foundry. We’ll also do a roundtable to discuss opportunities for IoT/AI/machine learning along with manufacturing capability touted in Industry 4.0 or Smart Manufacturing to optimize a sand casting surface or do arc-air.
