Duration: 6 Months
Problem Statement
The high costs associated with deployment of SM solutions has been a restricting factor for SM adoption, especially in small and medium manufacturers (SMMs), and there is a need to bridge the capital infrastructure and workforce skills gaps regarding SM methodologies.
Project Goal
Develop an industrial test-bed environment to showcase SM technology to create a dedicated SM training series to educated regional workforce and leverage the local MEP center to facilitate SM implementation.
Technical Approach
The proposed project will provide local SMMs access to a SM technology demonstration site featuring industry-relevant SM technologies, provide hands-on, lab focused training courses, and leverage regional MEP center to implement ‘quick win’ solutions using SM methodologies
