How to Attract Talent and Enhance Workforce Education
As technology advances, manufacturing leaders are struggling to keep pace and remain competitive in a dynamic and ever-changing market, especially with skilled labor shortages and an aging workforce. Therefore, ahead of our upcoming Connected Worker Summit in Chicago, from October 7-10, we caught up with Conrad Leiva, VP of Ecosystem and Workforce Education at CESMII.
CESMII is actively contributing to the 2024 HI-TEC conference with insightful sessions focused on advancing smart manufacturing workforce skills. These sessions, featuring CESMII alongside industry leaders and educational institutions, highlight innovative approaches and partnerships aimed at enhancing technical education and preparing the future workforce for high-tech sectors crucial to the nation’s economy.
Manufacturing Data Architecture Workshop: From Asset to Edge and Edge to Cloud
We partnered with Owens Corning for a recent Manufacturing Data Architecture Workshop: From Asset to Edge and Edge to Cloud!
Since joining CESMII in 2023, Owens Corning has been a dynamic addition to our network, with Brian Perlstein serving on our Smart Manufacturing Executive Council. Our mission at CESMII is to accelerate the adoption of smart manufacturing technologies, enhancing energy efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness across the industry.
South by Southwest (SXSW) celebrates innovation and technology and provides a forum for creative thinkers to discuss what’s next and learn about the resources that can help them build the future. Over 300,000 people attend the annual conference and festival, and in 2024, the Manufacturing USA network had the opportunity to present its first session at the conference.
