We partnered with Owens Corning for a recent Manufacturing Data Architecture Workshop: From Asset to Edge and Edge to Cloud!

Since joining CESMII in 2023, Owens Corning has been a dynamic addition to our network, with Brian Perlstein serving on our Smart Manufacturing Executive Council. Our mission at CESMII is to accelerate the adoption of smart manufacturing technologies, enhancing energy efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness across the industry.

We exhibited at SME’s Smart Manufacturing Experience in Pittsburgh, PA, showcasing the collaboration between National (CESMII), Regional (Digital Foundry at New Kensington), and Industry (Phoenix Contact USA) partners in advancing Smart Manufacturing solutions.

A big thank you to our friends at Digital Foundry at New Kensington for hosting an excellent evening for attendees. Guests had the opportunity to tour their facility, enjoy food and drinks, network, and see Smart Manufacturing solutions in action.

As one of CESMII’s Smart Manufacturing Innovation Centers, the Digital Foundry is equipped with state-of-the-art digital manufacturing hardware, software, and industry certifications. 

Project Objective: Implement a novel antibody purification process that utilizes precipitation and dewatering. The process controls and predictive models for the new process will be implemented on the CESMII Smart Manufacturing Interoperability Platform (SMIP). 

We’re excited to announce the ‘Win the Hour’ (WinH) solution, developed by Sudhi Bangalore and the FullBore team in partnership with the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) and ThinkIQ, powered by the CESMII platform.
