RFP-2, Waves 3 & 4 Update
On May 12, 2020, CESMII released two waves of Smart Manufacturing Roadmap Project Solicitations targeted toward development of core Smart Manufacturing technologies and solutions. Approximately $3.5M of Federal funding is allocated for these efforts.
We are pleased to announce that CESMII has received a total of 28 proposals in response to these RFPs:
- 8 proposals for RFP2 Wave 3 (Platform capability), and
- 20 proposals for RFP2 Wave 4 (Innovation projects).
“This is an excellent response to the RFP, indicating a strong interest from our current and future membership to help grow our Smart Manufacturing Innovation Platform’s capabilities and our marketplace.” said CESMII CTO Haresh Malkani.
Selections are expected to be announced in late July for Wave 4 and early August for Wave 3.
