9:30-10:00 Arrival and Coffee

10:00-10:20 Welcome and Smart Manufacturing Overview

We will introduce the partner organizations and talk about the advances and benefits in smart manufacturing today.

10:20-11:10 Manufacturer Panel

Manufacturers will talk about their own smart manufacturing journey, where they found help and where they hit roadblocks along the way. Each will share what they will be tackling next.

11:10-11:30 Resources Available for manufacturers:

Program managers will have a rapid-fire session where to share quick overviews of various programs and products available to manufacturers and how they might fit together.

11:30-1:00 Lunch, Networking and Technology “Petting Zoo”

Programs, vendors, integrators and others in the ecosystem will have tables and demos set up for this mini-expo. You can also tour of some of the EMC2 facilities including a new Ivy Tech smart manufacturing lab. Boxed Lunch will be served. (if you RSVP’d!)

1:00-1:45 Breakout sessions:

1. Session a: IIOT technology demonstration and examples of ways in which each of the sensors can be implemented achieve value in a factory setting.
2. Session b: Understanding the Digital Transformation, including the puzzle pieces needed to make it work and the way to tie the many sources of information together to achieve value.
3. Session c: Workforce development, hiring and upskilling your workforce to be able to achieve your smart manufacturing goals.

2:00 – 3:30 Breakout sessions:

1. Session a: Learn about fundamentals of Smart Manufacturing, including how to adopt and apply the Smart manufacturing Mindset, how to chart your own course through the smart manufacturing landscape and what other manufacturers have learned through their smart manufacturing journey.
2. Session b: ManuFuture Today is a peer-to-peer network helping manufacturers accelerate innovation and business performance through trusted learning networks and digital adoption. In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to quickly identify opportunities that efficiently leverage network assets to tackle challenges.
3. Session c: This is especially aimed at Energy INsights participants who are looking to complete their hands on training requirements, but all interested parties are welcome. We will setup two Opto-22 devices, and practice configuring them. We will explore the backend of an Ignition server sandbox environment and make some dummy dashboards. Bring your own laptop and ethernet cable to fully participate.
