Innovation Days (May 8-9) at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Manufacturing Demonstration Facility (MDF) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) will bring together both emerging and established companies supporting the clean energy sector as well as DOE program sponsors, ORNL scientists and engineers, and MDF innovation partners to discuss clean energy R&D challenges and opportunities.
The event will showcase the MDF innovation ecosystem and and provide stakeholders information on how to leverage these assets to accelerate clean energy innovation, strengthen domestic manufacturing supply chains, and increase U.S. manufacturing competitiveness. The first day of the event will include presentations, breakout sessions, an industry panel and an MDF tour. On the second day, the event activities will take place at the Tennessee Manufacturing and Design Enterprise at the University of Tennessee and will include an ecosystem exhibition, more breakout sessions and other optional facility tours.
